While sight seeing at Mesilla Plaza in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the architecture was my inspiration for this piece of artwork. It had this distinctive look and feel of the desert atmosphere which is shown with the desert plants surrounding the building, the windows reflecting the distant mountains. Moderate bristle brush strokes rake the side of the building and the angled appearance of this exquisite structure gives the impression you are walking past.
