There sits an old movie house called The Showboat, in Texas City, Texas. The original opening was in April of 1949 called the Showboat Theater, a 1940's era building residing on the main strip downtown. It is now converted to a convention facility for events in the local area. It still has it's outwards charm as a movie theater in which I was determined to capture in this piece.
