Description

This piece has been digitally painted in an artistic style by GW Mireles. As I was traveling through the New Mexico desert, there it was, a mountain range, standing majestically with the desert scrub and sand at it's feet. Adorning it's crown, the various shades of blue sky mixed with wispy clouds. It appeared to be more rock than sand, but because of the distance this could be deceiving to the eye. Shades of blue smudges throughout the sky suggest an oncoming storm with the sun warming the western face of the mountains. Shades of green and brown with bristle brush strokes represent the desert scrub leading to the desert mountains in the distance. What a panoramic vista to remember.
