This piece has been digitally painted in an artistic style by GW Mireles. I could hear the music from a San Antonio downtown cantina near the Riverwalk, and it didn't take me long to sit, have a drink and watch the band enthrall the audience. They were really putting on a show and that is what I wanted to convey in this artwork with the guitarist belting out a solo while his fellow musicians pushed the tempo to a frenzy. Strong colors with broad brush strokes, the guitarist in his hat and western shirt, the blur of his picking hand while entertaining the crowd. The drummer sits among his golden drums tapping the ride cymbal keeping time.
